PADI SCUBA DIVING COURSES

There are many different aspects to being a good diver. We provide a range of courses to help certified divers become more skilled, confident, and safe in different environments and situations. Our prices include all required equipment, learning materials, certification fees, fruit, and water.

PADI Open Water Course

$525 per person

​Become a fully certified diver, discover a new world and learn that diving is more than a sport - it is a way of life! This course is the most popular scuba diving training program in the world. Normally taking 2 to 3 days, the course is a balanced mixture of theory (completed online in the comfort of your home) and practice. Anyone with a reasonable level of health and fitness can complete the Open Water Diver course. Even participants as young as 10 years old can become Junior Open Water Divers! Once qualified, your lifetime certification allows you to dive anywhere to a maximum depth of 60ft/18m. 

PADI Advanced Open Water Course

$490 per person

Exploration, Excitement, Experiences: That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver is all about! You don’t have to be an experienced diver to participate in this course. It is designed to improve your diving, so you can start right after earning the Open Water Diver certification if you desire. This course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through 5 different adventure dives. Adventure Dives include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diving, Boat Diving, Drift Diving, Search and Recovery, Fish ID, Underwater Naturalist, and Underwater Photography! You will develop new diving skills while gaining experience under the supervision and instruction of a PADI dive instructor. Together with your instructor, you will choose the options that suit you the best. In addition, each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course - check out our specialties here that improve your development underwater! At the end of your PADI Advanced Open Water Course, you will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 100ft/30m. Level up for FUN!

Emergency First Response Course

$170 per person

A prerequisite for the Rescue Diver and Professional Level courses, the Emergency First Response course is recognized internationally as an excellent First Aid qualification. This course typically takes 2-3 hours will teach you cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care. Course participants learn simple-to-follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a non-stressful learning environment.

PADI Rescue Course

$565 per person

The Rescue Diver course is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding dive courses you will ever take on a recreational level. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. The Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond.  Plus, the course is just fun– it’s serious and it’s challenging, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning. For this course, you will need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months by agencies approved by PADI. If you are not certain if your certification will cover the requirements, send us a picture of the card and we'll check it for you. In case you don't have this training, you can complete it right before the Rescue Diver course.  

PADI Divemaster Course

Turn what you love into your profession! Do you love scuba diving? Do you want to share it with others on a whole new level? Take the PADI Divemaster course and do what you love as a career. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.The PADI Divemaster program is the first professional level in PADI. At Dive Cabarete, we know what it takes to be an excellent Divemaster so we set high standards for our Divemaster Trainees. Working closely with our experienced PADI Instructors, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills and refine your rescue skills. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management, and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere. You will be part of a team providing a wonderful experience to our divers. Our instructors will give you feedback after every activity and by the time you have completed the program, you will be well equipped to work at any dive center in the world!​​
