A little bit about our crew!
Dive Cabarete has been providing quality scuba diving and snorkeling experiences on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, primarily in Cabarete and Sosúa areas, since 1998. We are delighted to invite you to come and experience the enjoyable and unforgettable scuba diving in the clear, warm and tranquil waters of Sosúa Bay. 
We believe the ocean experiences that we provide are unique on the Northern coast of the Dominican Republic. Our first focus is safety, followed closely by hands-on, personal customer service: quality instead of quantity. We always dive in small groups, with highly trained, experienced instructors ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all customers equally.
Kelli Beaty - Owner
Owning and operating a dive shop was my retirement plan…. I started a little early! After spending time in the Dominican Republic for work and experiencing the beauty above land, I wanted to indulge in my passion for diving. This led to discovering Dive Cabarete and the beauty below. I was so impressed with the diving and the shop that when the opportunity arose, I purchased the business with no hesitation. I want to run a dive company that I would want to dive with. My goal is simple… to operate with a standard of excellence that keeps our customers safe and happy AND coming back year after year! Staffing the business with the best is just the beginning.
Domingo Castillo - Boat Captain
Captain Domingo has been with Dive Cabarete from the very beginning and is one of the most highly respected Captains in Sosúa bay. He can usually be found taking loving care of Elena, our 22ft boat, which has been modified to carry up to 10 divers in comfort. He works tirelessly every single day to ensure the operation runs smoothly, and our divers and snorkelers have a safe and fun experience. Domingo holds a Captain's license and is trained in rescue procedures and CPR. He always has a huge smile for everyone, his motto is: No problems, only solutions!
Ana & Charles Shop Managers and Dive Instructors
Charles is originally from Scotland, but his love of scuba diving has taken him to many parts the world. He loves to take things apart to find out how they work - and therefore takes loving care of all aspects of our dive equipment. He has a wealth of experience teaching and diving, particularly with different types of sharks - and will cheerfully talk your ears off about them for as long as you’ll listen! When not diving, he loves nothing more than exploring the outdoors with his street dog turned dive dog Playita by his side.
Ana was born in Mexico, but is never more at home than when she’s underwater in any ocean. Drawing upon more than 10 years in the dive industry in many different coasts of the planet, she really knows her stuff when it comes to dive center management! She has a genuine passion for teaching diving - her divers and students frequently come away from working with her, as friends rather than customers. She loves macro life, and get’s very excited when she finds a new species! When not scuba diving, she loves freediving and drinking wine - but never the two combined!
Together with Playa they make quite a team - they are fun, easy to talk to and laugh a lot, yet are always professional. They are here to ensure that from start to finish, your experience with Dive Cabarete is unforgettable.
