Snorkel Spots- All great for both beginners and experienced snorklers
3 Rocks
-
It is about a 5-10 minute boat ride to get to 3 Rocks. It is anywhere from 10-25 feet deep. You'll find schools of sergeant majors, butterflyfish, damselfish, trumpetfish, parrotfish, and sometimes octopus, moray eels, or even sea turtles.
West Wall
-
West Wall is a marine-rich snorkel site with unique topography, tons of fan coral, and perfect for spotting hidden critters. It is within minutes from Sosúa Beach.
Canyon
-
Canyon is a unique snorkel site in Sosúa Bay because it is where the team at Fundación Ecológica Maguá works hard to conserve coral. There is also a cool statue that the foundation placed there. If you go diving/snorkeling here, Dive Cabarete donates 200 pesos per person to the foundation.
Los Cabezos
-
Los Cabezos offers beautiful scenery, abundant fish, and fun features in calm, accessible water. Schools of sergeant majors, bluehead wrasse, blue tangs, yellowtail snapper, and French grunts like to hang out here.
