The story behind Snuba's Strays:

Meet Snuba 🐾 Snuba is the heart behind this foundation.

Snuba was found in a parking lot at Sosúa Beach—very sick and barely holding on.

When Savannah, our Divemaster, went to rescue her, people yelled, “Ew, don’t touch that—you’re going to get sick.”

With love and care, she transformed into a beautiful, spunky, strong, healthy and happy girl.

Snuba proved those beachgoers wrong—and that she could beat the odds. She showed them that not only she, but all animals deserve a chance.

Tragically, Snuba’s life was cut short. But her spirit lives on in every animal we help.

We’re lucky to have her sister, Scuba, at Dive Cabarete every day, reminding us of her love and spirit. 🐾
