Easter 2014 - Semana Santa
As a public safety measure the Dominican Coast Guard require all of the dive centres using Sosua Bay to cease diving from the Thursday before Easter (17th April 2014) until Monday afternoon (21st April 2014). We are also required to remove our boat from the bay.
We are now closed until Monday 21st April but will be checking emails if you w ant to contact us about diving and snorkelling.
We apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment.
Here on the north coast of the Dominican Republic we are fortunate to have some wonderful and very accessible dive sites in crystal clear, warm tropical waters in the beautiful Sosua Bay. Our many dive sites boast some of the most beautiful soft corals in the Atlantic Ocean as well as a wide variety of marine life.
As we have an amazing diversity of dive sites we can offer a complete range of snorkelling and scuba diving activities. For those that are already certified we offer daily diving packages and PADI continuing education courses; if you want to learn to dive we have 2 PADI Instructors on staff; if you want to try scuba diving we have excellent reefs for your PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience; and if you just want to get wet and see the beautiful reefs and fish we will happily take you for a guided half day snorkelling trip.
Dive Cabarete has been a PADI Dive Resort established in Cabarete and Sosua for over 12 years and is fully committed to safe scuba diving practices which meet PADI’s international standards. We pride ourselves on being a family run, small company and are therefore able to offer you scuba diving in a relaxed and intimate environment.
